We do have Diamond Talk tonight after game one of Rangers and Diamondbacks, a rematch of the 2023 fall classic.

And Friday night, we had a post game show after Texas lost 7 to 1 to the Chicago Cubs as many Cubs fans were at Globe Live, Channing, let's go Cubbies.

And it was pretty sickening because Texas had a total of two hits.

They did walk five times.

They were not good with runners on base and they lost seven to one.

And but pitching led the way over the weekend.

Saturday they win six nothing.

Sunday they win three nothing as the bullpen did great work on Saturday in relief of Jack Leiter who went four and two-thirds.

And yesterday, Jacob de Grom was just incredible with seven.

But before we get to the arms, we just have to talk about where this team is through 40 games.

Because even before the season began, our friend Evan Grant of the morning news talked about how this is just a crucial, crucial stretch of baseball to start the year.

And if you're looking at data right now, things will definitely change as the season progresses.

They have the hardest schedule to start the year, and the rest of the way their opponents have the lowest winning percentage in baseball.

And that's going to be very, very apparent, especially in May as they take on a lot of

bottom feeders.
