And we have to get to some diamond talk right here because the Rangers are three outs away from dropping two out of three in the Bronx.

They have a nice 6-1 victory last night, which I definitely want to talk about.

But this is a frustrating watch.

This one started early at 1135.

And after we got on the air, everything went to hell.

Let's start with what's going on this afternoon.

It started out somewhat positive.

The Yankees did score one in the first off McKenzie Gore.

But in the third inning, the Rangers were able to strike back.

They're able to get a run after they did some good things offensively last night.

Zeke Duran hits a line drive home run to left field,

tying things up in one.

So that's positive.

Then the Rangers actually took a 2-1 lead there in the fifth inning,

which Zeke again grounded into a forceout but got a run home.

So you have a nice 2-1 lead.

Then it's up to McKenzie Gore, who was pitching a pretty solid game, a day game in the Bronx. A lot of kids there. I was watching the telecast before the show, and kids were chanting the whole time. And they were also horrified at the very beginning of the game because you had Brandon Nimmo, who was D-Hing leading off today, hits a pretty sharply hit ball to left as Jason Dominguez absolutely gets obliterated by

the wall and was down for the count, left the game, and that caused the Yankees to shuffle

up their outfield.

But the Rangers also, David, had to shuffle up their outfield because Paul Blackburn,

Weathers was scheduled to start. Paul Blackburn started for an inning today out of the Yankee

bullpen. So they pretty much had a bullpen game today. So what that did is that put Jock Peterson
