you get a long-term deal with George Pickens or you figure out that situation with some clarity

before the draft. But at least we got word during a roundtable. We were coming back from

break Saturday afternoon that the Cowboys and Giovante Williams were able to reach a three-year, $24 million

deal, $16 million of that guaranteed money and a $6 million signing bonus.

So one of the primary objectives, as far as their handful of free agents, they got it done

and they got it done in a timely fashion.

And not a total shock, but it's a arrow in the right

direction for sure it's three for 24 eight a year 16 guaranteed and yeah this is a like you said

wait for for the george pickens extension but we should be happy about this one just enjoy this

because i honestly would not have been surprised if he would have gone somewhere else if a team

offered him money because the cowboys haven't extended a running back since zeke like they've stuck

to the same formula where you know it feels like they they they made a mistake giving Zeke that $90 million extension.

He was already past his prime at that point.
