But let's do a little diamond talk here, Sean, as the Rangers cannot win in Colorado,

and it just, it feels like we are just, it's just snowballing with bad news.

Well, speaking to snowballing, it was like 40 degrees when the game started last night.

And you just look in the stands.

There's nobody there.

Everybody's bundled up like it's a Broncos game in December.

But, yeah, really frustrating night is they did mount a late rally but fall to the

pretty crappy Rockies 7 to 6.

Now, Colorado's not as bad as they were the past couple of years, but still.

It's still a team that's 10 games under 500.

It's a series you should win.

There is still time to do that, but there will not be a

sweep because last night you fell behind early as McKenzie Gore allowed two runs in the first

inning, 28 pitches. There was a really weird moment where he dove for a nubber out next to the

mound instead of letting Josh Young pick it up for an out. But still, he gives up two runs. It could have been worse because there was a basis loaded nobody out situation because he didn't have much control. And then you look up in the second inning in Peyton Gray, the sweet spot's own Peyton Gray, out on the mound, and you're just wondering what's going on. But we found out that McKenzie Gore has left lat tightness. He says he's okay. I guess this was a

precaution on a cold night where he didn't have it and he was feeling a little something.

You don't want to push it now. Obviously, thankfully Nathan Avaldi was able to come back after missing

one start with some tightness in his left side and was brilliant. So maybe Gore can get back on track. But it put them in a hole because they were down, what, 4 to 1 at one point? Third inning was just sloppy as hell. Zeke had a throwing error. Eventually the bases were loaded with two outs. And Josh Young commits an uncharacteristic error on a hopper to the left side, a couple runs scored.

At that point, it's 4 to 1.

And just knowing what this offense is, you don't feel great about some big rally happening,

you know?
