Sean, let's have a conversation about number four here, the starting quarterback,

because with all of the time that we've talked about the Cowboys in the first three weeks of the season,

a majority of it is, I mean, you can kind of pick the segment.

It's going to be about the defense.

It's going to be about the pass rush, the secondary, the injuries, Jerry Jones, the Micah Trade. It's all very newsworthy.

And we don't really talk about Dak Prescott anymore in the season that he's had, where he's

seriously had to do everything on this team. He has. And I know he hasn't been perfect, but if you actually look at what he's doing,

and again, most people don't care about analytics, but if you're just looking at adjusted

EPA, he's up there with the second highest in the NFL.

Behind Sam Darnold, of all people, but ahead of guys like Danny Dimes, who's doing great

things for Indianapolis, Josh Allen of the bills. So yeah, DAC is throwing into tight

windows as well. That was a thing last year. That's the thing again this year, and he's only

thrown one interception into tight windows, which I think is a positive thing. I think

Dak is good. I've often

thought DAC is good to very good. I've never thought Dak Prescott is great. And I think the Jerry

Jones and company, and again, his agent also has a hand in this. I just feel bad that he's the top

paid player in the NFL because he's not the best player in the NFL. And when you have a

quarterback that has that pay grade, you expect them amidst injuries, amidst poor defense, whatever,

to be the tide that lifts all boats. And Dak really, as much as I like the guy, love the guy,

he's never been that player throughout his career. No, he's never been the best quarterback in the

NFL. Even though he was never been the best quarterback in the NFL.

Even though he was runner-up in the MVP a couple years ago, it'd be hard to argue that

...
