Let's keep talking the tragic news of the day as Cowboys' Defensive End, Marciaun Neeland,

passed away late last night early this morning at the age of 24.

The statement that DPS put out a couple hours ago,

Marshawn Neeland was involved in a police chase last night around 1033 p.m. Northbound on Dallas North Tollway near

Keller Springs. The driver refused to stop. Troopers stopped pursuing him. Marshawn's car was

then recovered a car crash on the southbound lanes at Dallas Parkway near Warren Parkway in Frisco.

A couple hours later, his body was found deceased of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wounds.

And let's talk to our buddy from the Dallas Morning News, our ranch reporter Calvin Watkins.

Calvin, I hate to have you on in this situation.

We'd rather talk trades and stuff.

But have you learned anything else in the past couple hours since the DPS statement?

Still trying to put this thing together.

Apparently, you know, his girlfriend had called 911 and notified police that

Marshall was going to harm himself.

And so police came, but he was gone by the time he left.

The girlfriend was not named in the police report,

told police she was going to contact Marshawn's agent.

And she had said that Marsha had some mental health issues and that kind of thing.

So we're still trying to piece together, you know, how it started,

and I think we know how it started. Obviously, tragically, we know how it ended, but we're

trying to figure out there are some gaps there. There was a pursuit, as you guys know,

on the tollway here in Frisco. he crashed his car and left the car,
