I was wrong on this one. I thought, it's not that I don't believe in A&M. They've proved me wrong this

year. It's just going to Death Valley at night is always a tough task. It's their first win over

LSU in LSU since 1994, which was the last time

they were 8-0. So there's 30 years of precedent there. So it's not the wildest take to imagine

that a team like LSU would win on their home field. And honestly, A&M, they did themselves no

favors really in the first half. I mean, Marcel Reed had the big 41-yard touchdown runs.

So you're thinking, man, the Aggies might cook here.

But turnovers and just sloppy play in general.

Let LSU hang around.

In fact, LSU had an 18 to 14 lead at the half.

But then the physicality really ramped up in the second half as the Aggies

offensive line took over and their pass rush just got after Garrett Nussmeyer as they outscore LSU

35 to 7 in the second half and really the seven was a garbage time touchdown for the Tigers in the fourth quarter and it was so wild in late third quarter to see Death Valley just empty out on a Saturday night as Mike Elko got himself one of his signature wins.

And at this moment in time, again, all we can do is judge what we see.

And in the SEC, there's no team looking better and better form than the Aggies right now.

So there's a real chance.

If they can take care of Missouri and get past Texas,

they're definitely going to be playing for the SEC title. And this definitely looks like a playoff team no matter what. Yeah. As you're watching the second half of that game, and that's what

good teams do. If they struggle in a half of football, you can turn it on in the second half. And

they just put LSU to sleep late in that game with their

defense. They played more physical. And I saw this more as just a good win for Texas A&M rather than a
