Summary

In the early days of the pandemic, Sweden made the decision not to mandate a lockdown and did not require citizens to wear masks. Some have wondered if that decision was an attempt to achieve herd immunity. 0:58.6	However, the vast majority of those deaths have been in those over 70 years old, which
1:03.6	many have attributed to the mismanagement of care homes for the elderly early on in the
1:08.3	pandemic.
1:09.3	Now, Sweden is seeing relatively low case numbers, and very few deaths, and still they have never
1:16.9	mandated a lockdown.
