I hope that you're doing great, and I'm really thankful that you've joined.

It's a pleasure for me today to talk to you about a really interesting second century Roman emperor named Marcus

Aurelius. Over and over throughout the years, I've heard people quote Aurelius or reference his

tactics to things in a way that's always seemed so interesting,

but it's usually just little tidbits that never came together.

So I finally this week had some time to pull together what makes him such a popular figure

referenced so frequently, and I'm excited to share with you his top five, the big five things that helped him

master his life. You will enjoy them. They are extremely practical and useful, and I believe in them.

However, being secular as they are, and by that I mean absent from the presence of the Lord Jesus, and
