It's been almost six weeks since the Supreme Court listened to Donald Trump's attorney

argue that ex-presidents have absolute immunity for any crimes they may have

committed in the Oval Office.

Trump's attorney even suggested that a president could order

SEAL Team 6 to murder his political opponent,

even stage a coup. And unless he was impeached and then

convicted in the Senate, that president could not be subject to criminal

prosecution after leaving office.

Nobody in their right mind would rule in favor of this argument.

But then again, nobody in their right mind would have overturned Roe which is exactly what the court did two years ago come June 24th

The Supreme Court is nearing the end of its term and they still have yet to

issue a ruling on presidential immunity. They still can't seem to make up their minds as to whether or not former presidents

possess the divine rights of kings. The court just can't seem to decide. It's a slow and

deliberative process. This has nothing to do with delaying Trump's criminal trials until after November.

The court just wants to make sure they got it all right, and that takes time.

On February 6 of this year, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments on whether the state of Colorado

could scrub Donald Trump's name from the ballot in accordance with

section three of the 14th Amendment which disqualifies anyone from

elective office if they once swore an oath to the Constitution

and then engaged in an insurrection.

Oral arguments on that one, well they, those oral arguments were February 6th.
