I know. It's always interesting. I told Chris Bassett this last week when we had him on.

I always try and figure out the perfect time to ask a guy, particularly a starting pitcher.

Because if you don't have a great performance i don't want to bother you

right after that you've been pitching pretty well the last few but then like the team didn't

play great after you're after you left the game i was like man i don't know if i want to bother him

like 24 hours right after a tough loss like how quickly are you able to wash that stuff off

uh it's no we can we can we can honestly do it next a tough loss. Like, how quickly are you able to wash that stuff off?

like, I think I had two really tough ones, I would have been like, yeah, but after these were the last ones, of course I would have done it.

Is there a guy that you had to learn that from when you were coming up like, hey, you're going to get your dick kicked in occasionally as a starting pitcher, bro?

If you start 32 times in a year, you're going to have a couple where they just suck.
