I started walking for fitness in

2013. Still take an intentional fitness walk every single day. I'm walking right now, and I would love to

have you join me for the next 10 minutes. A rainy morning in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. That's

obvious. We've been in this weather pattern now with clouds and off and on rain. Most of the rain has been in the afternoon. We've had some light misty rain. We've had some overnight rain. It looks like we've got at least one more day before things begin to clear out.

I was out to dinner with a friend last night and overheard a waitress say to somebody else.

Yep.

Can't wait for the sunshine to return.

Been a while.

I was thinking, really?

Has it been that long?

And for a fully sunny day, it's been a while.

But now I'm heading into whiny territory, and I really don't want to go there.

So thank you for your concern, your questions about Ava, how she doing? She had surgery. It's been almost six weeks now,

and she continues to recover well. In fact, she has her final scheduled follow-up appointment with surgeon coming up pretty soon, and it is expected during that appointment that

Ava's going to be given the green light to resume all normal activities, which for her

includes running.

And she has not been able to run in several months.

She turned a corner both physically and emotionally, right around week four
