aka Sporty Mc Sportington today because the Super Bowl happened yesterday. Now I'm going to be so

for a job right now I did not sit down and watch the whole Super Bowl. I have

gotten up to speed on everything, watched a whole ton of what went on yesterday, including the halftime show, all of the

major clips that were circulating around, all of the drama, the ads, the Nickelodeon spin on the Super Bowl,

which we're going to get into today.

But before we go there, we've got Taylor in Nashville.

I'm one of those weirdo old school guys

who actually wanted to watch Super Bowl out of interest in the football,

but it is as much of a cultural event as it is a sporting one.

So I guess we can hit it with the Yin and Yang here today.

Yes, we can.

I'm up on the cultural front of what's happening with the Super Bowl game.

And first we're going to start off with how the game began and that was not only with the National Anthem, but the Black National Anthem being sung.

Now mind you, I don't know who the singer is who did the Black National Anthem at the

Super Bowl. She had a fantastic voice, super talented, you know, more power to her, but my goodness, do we need there to be a

black national anthem?

But you guys know the whole history with the NFL, how they're all into protesting and Black Lives Matter. You had Colin

Capernix start off this major trend of kneeling during the National Anthem,

and now they've decided to integrate the Black National Anthem into the whole show the whole shebang here is a you know a

little viewing I'm not gonna play the sound because you girl does not want to get a copyright
