I'll be excited about what they heard there from Matthew Stafford saying he will return next year.

He does win the MVP as we welcome you in to a Friday edition of NFL live. We're getting really close to the Super Bowl, y'all. We got Marcus Spears, Mina Kimes, Ryan Clark, Dan Orlovsky. There's the wave that means we can get going. And this was a really close MVP race. Stafford in May separated by just five points. It's points, not votes, but very close. Dan, did they get it right? Yeah, I think so. One of these guys was going to win and we were all going to say, yeah, and then one guy was going to finish in second place. I want to say lose and be like, well, they're going to be disappointed. Both had unbelievable seasons. I think Drake May is going to go into next year and be one of the heavy favorites to get back to very much so being in the conversation.

The quality of throws that Stafford made on a week to week basis, I think that was a real determining factor. Laura, you talked about it. Single digit points difference. I think it's one of the closest of all time. But yeah, I think Matthew was the deserving winner. Drake May's season was sensational. Yeah, I'm about to say, I don't think you go wrong as long as you're not the guy that votes for somebody else when it comes to the MVP. I mean, Matthew Stafford had an amazing season. Drake May did as well. I think what this does for Matthew Stafford, though, it puts him in some of those all-time great conversations. People like Drew Breeze, who was obviously a first ballot Hall of Famer and deserved to be so,
