its rich list, ranking the wealthiest people in the UK.

This year, people across the country have felt the cost of living crisis bite, with many

having to choose between heating and eating. And yet, this is a country with 171 billion

cars. And for many, the high life has carried on.

figure.

For most of us, it's difficult to even imagine some of the songs on this list. So here's

your handy conversion guide to understanding billionaire money. If the average UK salary

is just over £30,000 a year, let's compare that with someone making £300 million, a reasonable

figure for many of the people on this list. That's £10,000 times more. To understand how

that feels, it would mean a first class flight to America at about £10,000 would be the

equivalent of spending £1,000 to someone making £300 million. That quarter of a million

pound supercar? £25 quid. A full-time butler to do your bidding day and night on an £80,000

salary. Well, if you're on £300 million, that would feel like £65 a month in relative

terms.
