Summary

Vic and Hamish get emails every week from people asking 'Is it ok to eat a bar of chocolate every night instead of drinking wine?' Well, today instead of guessing the answer, they have actually done a bit of Sober Awkward research to find out why sober people eat more sugary sweets, what it's doing to your body and is sugar ok in moderation?

For some giving up drinking is about overcoming an addiction, for others it’s a lifestyle choice but either way, it’s all about health...mental and physical. So, how come once we give up one thing - we tend to think it’s alright to dabble in another – sugar being one of the main naughty vices in which we indulge.

Vic loves chocolate and Hame has a sneaky habit of buying cheap Mars Bars when no one is looking. They are both guilty of leaning on sweet treats since giving up the grog. So, today in Sober Awkward they want to find out if its ok to gobble on a Jelly Baby or two and is eating a packet of biscuits instead of downing 5 pints of Lager actually better for you?
