What we're doing today, Angela? Today we are doing the Suez Crisis. This is something that's

always been of a great interest to me.

I don't know why.

I think I'm very interested in sort of British post-war politics and this was a watershed moment.

Did you know much about the Suez Crisis before this episode?

I sort of in context of other things.

So yes, I did sort of, you know, reading about Prime Minister.

Obviously it was Anthony Eden.

It was a big old moment for him.

And yeah, but I didn't know as much detail as I do now.

I've read it.

Right. Good.

Well, we're talking about 1956.

Try and imagine, if you can, a time when Britain had incompetent, arrogant, upper-class

leadership.

I can't imagine what that would be like.

It caused us enormous damage with our friends and allies, damaged our international reputation,
