This is a very exciting episode. There have been people who have been waiting all year for this

episode, including my guest. This is now what has become an annual tradition at the Remnant,

where we do our half-big ideas episode with Congressman Mike Gallagher from Wisconsin's

Fightin' 8th. We'll get into what the half-big ideas are and aren't, because we start the conversation.

I'm very glad to do this. For those who are worried, we're going to avoid the brown liquor

and stick to beer on this episode. Just for the record, the Congressman insisted and I resisted

until my CNN hit got canceled and so then all of a sudden I was like, hey, why not? I'm still

deeply bitter, like a con man, like a grifter who switches to water halfway through a hustling pool

match. The Congressman last year let me keep drinking to excess while he did not. You don't
