I want to preach from a subject about a guy named Jacob in the Old Testament in

Genesis 32. It's a fun exciting and kind of mysterious passage, but this is Jacob wrestling with God.

And we see in chapter 32, starting verse 22.

It says, he, Jacob, arose that night,

took his two wives, his two female servants,

and his 11 sons and crossed over the Ford of Jabak.

He took them and sent them over the brook

and sent over what he had.

Then Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him until the breaking of day.
