Well, hi everybody, welcome to Strassford Lounge. I'm your host Bill Little, and we always joke about flawless launches.

0:27.6

But this one actually was. What do you know about that? I hope everybody's doing well. I was busy last week. I was out doing some fun stuff all week long. Starting last Tuesday morning,

0:41.8

I was up around six and had to be on location at eight. And we shot 13 episodes of the Cold War on video, three the first day and then two every day after that.

0:59.3

I don't know what it was.

1:00.7

I know on the first day they said I read, I think it was, I think it was 48 pages of,

1:09.0

48 pages of, you know, single space content whole width, and it felt like it.

1:15.2

But it was a tremendous cruise, a tremendous job.

1:20.2

I couldn't be happier with the results.

1:22.3

The set was fantastic.

1:24.4

We had a different costume for every episode. So 13 costume changes.

1:30.7

They were all kind of that 60s, early 60s kind of thing. So that was great. Hi to everybody

1:34.8

who's saying hi. Um, and, um, and it was, uh, just a complete blast. Uh, somebody's asked,

1:42.7

is it the same step as on the air? Yes, it is. As a matter of fact, when they made the move, there were a couple of switches out with producers, Daily Wire, when they moved from L.A., I recorded the Cold War, what we saw as audio only a couple years ago now. I think it was probably end of 2019, early 2020. It was before

2:04.0

the pandemic, and it was after Apollo 11, so probably last days of 2019, I would say. And when I

2:12.1

recorded it the first time, I'd write a script, and then they'd schedule time. I'd go and record the one script.

2:21.1

So it was, I don't know, 13 different recording sessions, I guess. But this time, uh, we were,

2:27.1

we were just pounding them out. And because, um, because of that little, uh, switch, they couldn't

2:32.7

get a hold of the original final shooting scripts.

2:37.5

So we had to take the actual episodes that aired, and then we had to do an audio transcript to those and re-format them.

2:50.4

And unfortunately, there were enough bugs in that, mostly in terms of punctuation, that after

2:56.4

the first one or two recordings, we realized that just the simplest way to do it would be for

3:04.0

me to get in the chair and just read through the whole thing now.
