The Strange Tale of Doctor Dog is a story about a young girl named Honeysuckle who is loved by her father and given everything she wants. One day Honeysuckle becomes ill and no one can help her. Her father calls upon every doctor and person who might be able to help offering a reward to anyone who can heal her. Finally, Dr. Dog arrives and heals her. The father offers him anything he wants and invites him to live with them as a member of their family. They are all very happy until one day when Dr. Dog picks up Honeysuckle and runs off with her.
