Hey everyone. When I say the band Nirvana, who do you think of? Okay, this book isn't by him,

but see the guy behind him? No, no, the one on the drums? Yeah, yeah, him. Okay, today's book is

the storyteller by Dave Grohl. I'm Kellyn Erskine. I'm a comic, a father, and I thought

that I had some crazy stories, but then I read this book about a guy who drummed for

Nirvana, regularly jams with Paul McCartney, and has performed for multiple presidents,

and I threw my autobiography in the fireplace.

And I'm David Vance. I agree strongly with Nirvana's philosophy of teaching babies to swim after dollars.

The storyteller is the memoir of Dave Grohl, who was part of a band so successful that if you

Google it, 18 of the first 20 results are about the band instead of the religious concept sacred to 1.7 billion people.

And this is the book pile.

First, I was thinking, how is a foo fighter sacred?

All right, it's macy.r says, I love this podcast. It's my go-to pick me up for when I want to be in a

The combination of their sense of humor and intellectual commentary make for an excellent

listen. All of the episodes are fantastic, but the roasts are my personal favorite.
