0:36.1	It is paid family leave. And for decades, the U.S. has lagged behind almost every developed nation when it comes to paid family leave and medical leave. And finally, now we're seeing a surge of momentum that's pushing this issue into the national spotlight. Congress is, I think, making some bipartisan moves. We are seeing some corporations stepping up,
0:55.1	and even professional sports are setting new standards for paid leave policies. Now, polls consistently
1:00.1	show a massive majority of Americans support it. 2023 Pew Research Survey found 82% of Americans
1:08.2	favor paid leave for new mothers. That's more popular than Thanksgiving.
1:12.1	70% support it for fathers.
1:14.4	An issue exists where 7 out of 10 Americans agree.
1:18.0	So why is it so hard?
1:20.4	At the forefront of this fight is Dawn Hucklebridge,
1:22.5	director of paid leave for all,
1:23.6	which is a leading advocate for sane policies that support workers and families and really help
1:29.3	economic stability, even though I know that's not popular this year.
1:32.6	There are so many major breakthroughs happening at every level from Chabani, expanding paid leave to the WTA,
