Shalwa, today we'll do a short story from this era

that actually has a very interesting and contested

Filke position that is relevant to our times.

It is the story of Salim, the Maulah al-Hadeifa.

Who is this Salim? Who's Abu Hadeifa? What's his story?

In a nutshell, because we have to get to the Filke issue as well.

Abu Hadeifa is the son of Rutba.

And Rutba was a distant uncle of the Prophet,

Al-Allahu alayhi wa sallam.

Remember the story of Thaif?

And he went to the garden and the two brothers,

Rutba and Shaba, these are the two brothers.

Rutba and Shaba, they were the two brothers who owned the garden.

And Rutba was the one who, in the battle of Badr,

when the Prophet ﷺ saw the battle of Badr,

the Quraysh on the other side.

And there was a red camel running back and forth.

And the Prophet ﷺ said,

if they listen to the man on the red camel, they shall be successful.
