We'd like to get right into it and what we're going to get right into today is the story

of Michael Avanetti.

Remember Michael Avanetti?

You should.

He was the lawyer who represented the porn actress Stormy Daniels when she sued then

President Donald Trump.

But more importantly for our purposes today, Avanetti is the man who showed the world how

some segments of the media and by that I mean CNN and MSNBC could lose their heads in

an anti-Trump frenzy and for that he should always be remembered.

Now why am I bringing up Michael Avanetti now?

He is in the news now because trial has begun in New York on charges that he stole hundreds

of thousands of dollars from his famous client Stormy Daniels and I look at the specific

allegations against him shows the striking contrast between Avanetti's celebrated television

appearances and this was in 2018 when he became a hero of the resistance and what he was

actually doing behind the scenes.

Little background.

During the 2016 presidential campaign, candidate Donald Trump paid Daniels push money to cover

up a sexual encounter that they had had a decade earlier.

Okay fast forward from the election to March of 2018.

Trump is in the White House and there is an anti-Trump fervor rising among Democrats

and many in the media.
