Today's story is an incredibly short one, but the man who was at the center of it was no less cruel. On December 3rd, 2010,

a notorious criminal was killed at the hands of rivals, a man who made a name for himself

with his appearance and his penchant for violence. So if you like your coffee hot, but your bones

chilled, sit back and start your day with a morning

cup of murder. Marcello de Jesus Silva was a man who, due to his horrific nature and short stature,

was nicknamed Chuckie or Pignew. According to the authorities, Marcella was, in addition to being a thief and drug trafficker,

part of a death squad, and was personally responsible for the murders of more than 20 individuals

in Brazil.

He was allegedly the right-hand man of the infamous Juotasheira Liel, one of the area's most prolific drug traffickers.

According to the sources, Marcello was known for quite a few antics during his criminal history.

Like when he, in order to escape arrest, lived in a public telephone booth, or how he would sit atop the shoulders

of a taller accomplice and fire his submachine gun at the victims.

There was also the fact that somehow he kept managing to escape custody.

In March of 2007, the Death Squad, composed of seven men, were captured after a triple homicide in

Salvador. Yet again, Marcello somehow managed to get himself back on the streets, which is where

he was on December 3, 2010, when rival traffickers finally decided they had enough, and viciously murdered Marcelo de Jesus Silva.

His arms were severed, his face disfigured by wood blows, and his body hanged in a trash container.
