I think God speaks often to us, at least He speaks to children very much to their hearts

and their imaginations.

And I think as grownups we kind of have these defenses up and something about writing

for children, adults reading a book written for children, I think it can't just catch

them without their defenses up and they respond in that same place like a child, that heart

response, which is how God wants to talk to us and wants to reach us.

And I think it sort of catches their imagination and I think that's key, isn't it?

You're not going to ever, you know, it's not through points and summary and debate.

It's through telling a story and a story is so powerful.

You know, a story doesn't come and insist that you, it just tells you a story and it's

plants a seed and that's what's so exciting about a story is, God can use it.

We don't know, again, we go back to that fruit.

The seed is planted, it's not our business to know what's happening, but God's word goes

out and it doesn't return empty.

So even by sharing this story, even in a very distilled form, which is what this is, you're

planting a seed.

And I think that's so exciting.
