So December 7th, Pearl Harbor Day, I, in preparation for that day, started

doing some reading, and then I went home that night and this doesn't do y'all any good because Pearl Harbor's over at that point.

But I started reading about and watching documentaries and interviews about Pearl Harbor and interesting things.

And Chad Nachanishi sent me our

executive producer sent me a post he said you a some prep he said I think you might be

interested in this this guy wrote a book about a Japanese pilot who led a Pearl Harbor attack, attacked the Americans, and then later became a Christian. The book is called Wounded

Tiger. Would you like me to reach out to him? So he did and our guest is Martin Bennett.

Martin, pretty fascinating story because I would generally be very angry

at a Pearl Harbor attacker for the Japanese Air Force, but this story has a pretty neat

It takes a pretty interesting direction. How did you get involved on it?

Michael, thanks very much. Yeah, I agree with you 100% on that. Well, I have always loved true

stories, but I love stories with happy endings and I love

redemption stories and this story I never heard anything about I mean I like history

World War II things like that I never heard anything about this guy's story so I've had a I

purchased online a used book from a defunct publisher and it had some of the story in

there and so as I was going through this book I'm thinking how is that we

don't all know this story so I'd already

written a feature-length screenplay on the life of someone else's historical
