You know, in my neighborhood, there is a lot of construction going on.

There's some apartments being built just a few blocks away.

There are houses going up in developments just right next door.

I'm seeing construction happen all the time. Well, our passage today is going to take some imagery

from the idea of construction and building, and it applies it to Jesus. So I want you to get

your mind and your head around that concept of construction and building

11, you'll notice these are verses that we covered slightly yesterday, but we're going to dig into them

a little more today. Let's go to prayer, that the

Lord will be our teacher today. Our Lord, God, we ask you to be our help, to be our instructor,

to open our hearts and minds to understand your word and to know how to apply it rightly.

We ask it in Jesus' name. Amen. Okay, Mark 12 verses 10 through 11. Jesus is speaking to the religious leaders of his day,

and he's about to quote an Old Testament passage to them. He says, have you not read this scripture?
