Recently, I had the privilege of speaking in a conference that was dedicated to the theme of good stewardship.

Now, usually when you talk about stewardship, immediately everybody thinks money.

But stewardship is not just about money. In fact, money is really the least of the things we are stewards of. We're stewards of our bodies. We're stewards of our time. We're stewards of our health.

We're stewards of our family. We're stewards of our gifts and abilities. We're stewards of the truth. The Bible says we're stewards of the

mysteries of God. Think about that. That's greater than your time, your talent, and your treasure.

Really, stewardship extends into every facet of our life. And so let me just ask you today,

are you a good steward?

Have you pondered much on the stewardship of life?

Because that's more than money.

That connects to every realm, every facet of your life.

Now, we talked in our last study from Genesis chapter 1 about the fact that God created

us to bear his image or to reflect about the fact that God created us to bear

his image or to reflect his glory. God has created us to labor with him, to have dominion and to subdue.

But let's return today to this thought that God has created us to be stewards.

What does that mean? It means two things. It means there is responsibility and there is accountability.

Those two things are inextricably linked. Everything that God gives you, everything he

entrust you with, you are answerable to God for. Remember, it is required in stewards that a
