Welcome to the Tuesday live stream where we talk about issues of theology and apologetics and we try to connect these things to the Christian life.

And today we're going to be talking about the state of youth in our world today and I have a special guest with

me Dr. Sean McDowell who I'll let him introduce himself in just a moment I'm

grateful that he took the time to be with us today but just to give you guys a

recap you know we always start by saying what's this thing going to be about. We're going to talk about like who the youth are, how are they, how they are uniquely different than really other generations, but at the same time they're totally the same in other ways.

And so we're going to try to understand them better and more organically, not just statistically,

and I'm hoping that Sean McDowell has been able to help us with that.

We'll talk about unique challenges they face

and unique challenges we may face

when trying to reach them that maybe we haven't considered

because we just didn't grow up the way they did.

haven't you haven't me you haven't here. So tell us about yourself a little bit. Tell us who you

are for anybody in the audience who just doesn't know.

Sure. First off I've been married to my high school sweetheart 19 years have three kids, 15, 12, and 6. I teach full-time at Towette School Theology, Biola University and Apologetics.

Teach high school part-time at a private school, three mornings a week.
