Adams' first public criticism of Cuomo since the former governor launched his campaign this

weekend in a video that blasted the city's leadership.

Stephen Natasha, in February of 2022, Mayor Eric Adams met with former governor Andrew Cuomo

for dinner. Adams at the time said it was to get Cuomo's advice on governing and how to

work with Albany. Now, three years later, instead of dinner, Adams is getting ready to meet Cuomo

at the polls. Yes, I do believe we need to be saved from him, but I can't campaign from this place.
