0:27.0	talks from Salana Breakpoint 2024 in Singapore. I really awesome to be here. I'm going to talk a little bit about the state of the USDC economy, which is strong,
0:45.2	and it's very strong in the Salana ecosystem.
0:48.4	Super excited to be here with the community.
0:52.4	USDC has scaled enormously in the past six years since we launched it.
0:57.0	Since we launched back in 2018, we've seen over 16.2 trillion dollars of transactions happening and that number is
1:06.9	accelerating and it's accelerating in a significant part because of the
1:11.1	incredible adoption on the Salana ecosystem.
1:15.0	At a high level, we're scaling on a bunch of fronts.
1:19.0	First, we're scaling in terms of the infrastructure that USDC runs on on 15 chains
1:24.8	and connecting those chains together in a seamless way through CCTV which has already done
1:30.7	about 13 billion dollars of volume.
1:35.0	As you know, USDC is available as a protocol,
1:38.7	as a digital currency all around the world,
1:41.3	and has grown significantly in the past 12 months.
1:46.4	USDC in the Salana ecosystem is doing phenomenally well.
1:52.4	If you look at that cumulative volume from 2023 to 2024,
1:57.4	in 2023 cumulative volume of about $600 billion in USDC
2:02.4	transactions, in 2024 so far already doing nearly $8 trillion
