State of the Union.

I don't know about the rest of you, but yes, I did stay awake, obviously.

I watched the entire state of the union, the entrance of the cabinet and the people and the

president, and then the entire speech, which lasted about an hour and 45 minutes. I forgot to

start my stopwatch. And then I watched the Democratic response. And then I did some reading and

some checking. And I want to help.

I want to give everyone just a couple minutes of talking points,

bipartisan, honest talking points.

So you can all have it.

Let's start with the most obvious.

Everybody lies.

You're going to read a lot about the fact checking of last night,

and I've got a laundry list of things in front of me

that the president purposefully tried to mislead you

during the course of that speech.

Trying to make you feel better about your economic standing.

Trying to make you feel better about your safety.

Trying to make you feel better about all of the things that may cause you to change who it is you support in midterm or presidential

year elections.
