the state of Idaho versus Brian Coburger.

And it looks like this case is going.

So far, we know that on Wednesday, Judge Stephen Hippler told the defense and the prosecution to be ready, to be ready to go to trial on August 11th would be the date.

Bushy eyebrows, DNA on the knife sheath, Amazon purchase records.

These are just some of the evidence that the state has against Brian Koberger.

The evidence that Judge Stephen Hippler is allowing prosecutors to admit in the death penalty

trial of Brian Kohlberger is substantial.

Defendants in other high-profile death penalty cases have been down Koberger's road,

faced with potentially making a life or death decision before a jury

does it for them take a plea if prosecutors will agree and avoid a potential death sentence or go to

trial some defendants don't want to take the risk of being sentenced to death so they plead guilty to murder charges and agree to live the rest of their life in state prison.

Others assert their innocence and hope the strength of the defense will show reasonable doubt is on their side, so they go to trial.

Prosecutors aren't required to entertain a plea deal to bargain away the penalty, but often they do.

Whether Koeberger is actually considering a plea deal in the killing of four University of Idaho students on November 13, 2022 is unknown, not guilty pleas have been entered on his behalf.

We don't even know if, in fact, the prosecution would offer a plea.

It's at the 11th hour, as Judge Stephen Hippler says.

So whether this would even be a factor, we don't know. But anyway, folks, hold on to your
