Summary

I’m in Santa Monica today and it brought up so many memories for me. As I sat with my almond milk cappuccino and began journaling, I was inspired to share this reflection with you. If you’re an ambitious woman who’s ready to get out of control, practical, and predictable and step more into the power of surrender, pleasure, and play….then you’re going to want to listen to this one!

What's up, Queen? Happy Wednesday to you. I am doing today's podcast from the hotel lobby of Casa Delmar

0:41.2

in Santa Monica. So it might be a little different sound quality today, but I figured it was better

0:46.2

than not doing one at all. And it's like, hello, hi, I miss you. I know I've gotten used to doing these

0:52.4

daily and been doing a little travel and getting readjusted back in the United States.

0:59.8

But it is, you know, it's so much fun in Italy. And it's actually really good to be back.

I've spent so much time in my life in Santa Monica, specifically in this hotel. I remember when I was broke

1:14.4

and I just needed to be in a higher vibration because I was depressed about it. And I would come

1:19.4

to this hotel and I don't remember how much the Cappuccinos were, but they seemed really expensive

1:38.1

and then I started my business when I was in Santa Monica, and I would basically make this my

1:42.5

West Coast office, so there's a lot of,

1:45.9

a lot of nostalgia here for me. But basically, I came here this morning to just sit by the ocean

1:55.0

and have time to myself. I wrote an Instagram post about this today that like, you know, there was

2:03.0

like so much that I felt like I needed to do work-wise and I like, I should just like stay in my

2:06.8

hotel room and like get worked on. I was like, no, no, I just want to go take time for me. And I went

2:14.0

and sat myself next to the window and watched the waves and ordered an almond milk

2:18.4

habuccino and maybe a side of bacon. And just like didn't think about working and didn't think

2:27.1

about what needed to be done and just gave myself the time and space to just journal and to just be, be with my own thoughts, be with my own emotions,

2:38.9

be with my own dreams. And I think the space is so important for women like us because we're
