A piece of muse I saw yesterday that had me scratch in my head, which was the trillion-dollar pay package for Elon.

Elon Musk could officially become the first trillionaire. Just about a trillion dollars in stock.

It's a striking number, but the benchmarks that he has to meet are also equally striking.

He's not just the leader of the company. He's the marketing voice.

If we really do expect to find ourselves in an abundant society soon, we should expect to have a lot

of trillionaires in our society. Money will start to have far less value than ever before.

If we're really on the verge of abundance, then what comes after that? What's going to remain scarce,

even as energy and intelligence, the cost of both of those goes to zero. But stuff is changing so

quickly. Media is changing quickly. Elon is paving a new path for what it means to be a great

corporate CEO. But it's going to change again, and it's going to change again, it's going to change

again. A trillion dollars here, a trillion dollars there.
