So I love Easter, and a lot of pastors don't because it's kind of like Christmas. It's like,

yeah, we know that one. Anyway, but I love Easter because I love the details of the story.

And I'm convinced just the way I grew up and the way I finally pieced it together, that it's the

narrative of Easter that is not simply the center of our faith as Christians,

but it's not just what happened. It's the narrative surrounding what happened. And I love to tell

this story, even though it's the same story. And if this is your first time with us,

or maybe the first time in a long time, I always feel like I need, I don't need to. I want to

I want to say this on Easter. Of course, at Easter,

we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, but we don't believe that Jesus rose from the dead

because the Bible tells us so. It is so much better than that. And it is so much more believable

than that. In fact, a little history, you know this. Maybe the Bible, as we know it,

was not assembled until the fourth century, like 400, almost over 300 years after the resurrection

of Jesus. And the fact is, and this is so important, and I don't have time to explain it, but this is

so important, especially if you're skeptic or from a different faith tradition or maybe you had a bad church experience,

you kind of got bumped out, but it's Easter.

So, you know, you got to go to church on Easter.

The truth is, we have the Bible because of the resurrection.

If there had been no resurrection of Jesus,

there would be no Bible, there would be no church, and there

would be no Christians, and don't applaud, maybe you're like, oh, yeah, there would be no Christians

if there weren't worth for the resurrection. And here's the reason we believe in the resurrection.
