My name is Jared and I'm joined here with a pretty different group than usual but we still got Austin and returning again

is Helen and we've got a new person with us an old friend of Austin's Kyle.

Hello. So today we're trying to something a little bit different here.

So usually we talk about a specific movie, but today I wanted to try something that's a little

bit more timely and culturally relevant.

So we're doing what probably is not the best idea and we're talking about the Star Wars backlash

So before we start talking about a reacting to what's going on first I want to go around and instead of first impressions I want to get an idea of what Star Wars means to you.

Give me an idea of your history of Star Wars and just kind of where you are on your level of Geekum.

Let's start with Helen. So Star Wars was my whole

childhood. So I probably from I think about the time I was four or five I grew up watching the original trilogy over and over and over again with my dad and so by the time the new films came out we were you know myself and my

siblings were completely psyched for them and love them watch them over and

over much to the chagrin of my friends. I had one friend who she came over to spend the night and was really left crying because I didn't want to do anything but watch episode one again.

I would cry too well yeah so thoughts on that
