On October 10th, 2019, a man was sentenced for a crime he committed in broad daylight.

That, depending on how the law is interpreted, he may or may not be guilty of.

morning cup of murder. Today's story involves two individuals whose lives would become

intertwined by a crime, Marquesne McLaughton and Michael Dreschka. Marquess Dionne McLaughden,

born March 28, 1990, grew up in Clearwater, Florida,

moved around the state a bit during his childhood, and dropped out when he was in high school.

In the year 2009, he was introduced to a girl named Brittany Jacobs, and together, the pair

would enter a long-term relationship that resulted

in three children. And in December of 2018, just months before our story takes place, the couple

announced that they were excitedly expecting their fourth child. While Brittany worked as a certified

nursing assistant, Marquay was a stay-at-home

dad during the day and worked the night shift at a clear water 7-11. There was nothing,

according to the sources, that raised any red flags in Marques's life, one that would be cut

incredibly short after his interaction with Michael Drejjska.
