and we get the hang here for a few minutes Monday through Friday, just looking to God's

word, trying to stick some truth, some hope, some wisdom in our hearts and our minds.

You know, if you're working out, you jogging, you're running, or whatever, it really helps

to have a playlist to listen to, doesn't it? In fact, some of you might even be exercising

right now as you listen to this podcast, but I find that the right playlist really does help.

And so that's what we're trying to do. Currently, we're downloading some ancient song lyrics

into our minds to help with all the battles we face. And most of these are written by a guy

named David, who was not only a songwriter, he was a shepherd, he was a warrior, and he was a

king. And we said yesterday that there's a pattern for a lot of the songs that David writes.

He gets brutally honest about the truth going on in his life, and then he lands in the truth about

God. And that's just a good pattern for us to model. For the next couple of episodes,

I want to talk about dealing with disappointment. And I think we've all been there. We've experienced

the end of a relationship, or you didn't get into the college you wanted, you didn't make the team,

you didn't get the job, or the promotion, or you were offer number 13 on that house that you
