Most if not all of us have utilized a microwave.

You utilize a microwave because you want a quick meal, heated fast.

But one of the things you've noticed about microwaving is you need to eat it pretty fast because even though it was heated quickly

it cools quickly it just doesn't last. Many Christians want their Christian lives microwaved.

They want to come to church and get a nice hit that sets them on fire,

only to discover that by the time they hit the car, they didn't cool

off. By the time they get home, they don't even recall what they heard.

They have had a microwave experience

without a lasting change.

God does not grow us to maturity through a microwave experience. You don't get a quick hit and now everything is resolved, solved, and changed.

There is a process to spiritual development

and spiritual maturity.
