| 0:05.0 | Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. |

| 0:09.0 | Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for. |
| 0:12.0 | Stability is an indispensable prerequisite for human |
| 0:18.2 | happiness. We all need things we can count on, a secure foundation on which we can build our lives. |
| 0:26.1 | If everything is constantly shifting, then how can we set goals for ourselves? |
| 0:32.0 | How can we make plans for the future when absolutely nothing in the |
| 0:35.3 | future is predictable? How can we even be free unless there's something firm and stable |
| 0:42.0 | undergirding that freedom. You can't drive a car where you want to go unless there's a firm road beneath you and firm ground beneath that. |
| 0:51.0 | And you can't have freedom of speech unless you can depend on your |
| 0:56.2 | vocal cords to work and unless you can count on some level of |
| 1:00.1 | understanding between you and your audience. |
| 1:03.6 | Every freedom we have presupposes some underlying stability. |
| 1:09.4 | So what happens to our freedom and what happens to our life as a whole when the things we rely on |
| 1:16.1 | are growing less and less secure before our very eyes. Our Father who art in heaven, hallow would be your name, thy kingdom come |
| 1:27.8 | thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us to stay our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but to deliver us from evil, Amen. |

| 1:44.6 | blessed that art thou among women. |
| 1:46.4 | Blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. |
