Hey everybody welcome back to cold case murder mysteries. I'm your host Ryan Kraus

returning for another foray into the unknown. In this episode, we'll be dissecting

the baffling unsolved disappearance of the Springfield 3. On Saturday, June 6, 1992, and Springfield, Missouri, 19-year-old Susie Streeter and her friend, 18-year-old

Stacy McCall, attended a high school graduation party at a friend's home nearby.

Around 2 a.m. the young women returned to Susie's house

where she lived with her recently divorced mother 47 year old Cheryl Leavitt. The next morning however the three women proved

to be missing from the house and were never heard from again. In the nearly three

decades since they're vanishing, the police seem no closer to solving these mysterious disappearances.

So let's delve into the chronology of this event and follow that up with an extensive examination of architectural

considerations. That's right. In so many cases I cover what I learn is that the

architecture of the crime scene often plays a significant role in revealing the truth about the

unseen narrative that unfolded. In the same way you'd utilize forensics in the aftermath of a crime,

a pre-crime examination of architectural considerations renders

an accurate portrait of light and darkness.

What can't be seen? And what does all of that mean? So it's the evening of Saturday, June 6,

1992 in Springfield, Missouri.

Susie and Stacy have just graduated from Kickapoo High School. Missouri. Janelle Kirby. Now, Susie and Stacy don't go out together that night.

They each drive separately from their own homes and run into each other later.

These two have known each other a long time, but are apparently not close friends.

Susie worked in a movie theater and was planning to follow in her mom's footsteps by becoming a hairstylist.
