Mitch is away today, but welcome to the Monday, a very busy Monday in sports edition of the Sports Reporters podcast.

And we will start with the last thing we saw in baseball last night, which is the Braves once again walking off against the

defending champions of baseball, the Dodgers, the team that won 106 during the regular season

and then took out 107 win Giants team. And Bob, I'm doing a party shot about this later,

but, you know, Bill Madden used to joke about

the endless search by baseball managers for the guy who doesn't have it, meeting relief

pitchers, okay?

Right.

And we saw it again last night.

And Bobby, there's a lot to unpack in that game.

But as I was saying to our Tyler Brewer, our Dodger fan producer, why can't you just start

a guy who won 20 games during the regular season instead of bringing Eureas in in the eighth inning?

I don't have any idea.

And we, we up front and we will be the full disclosure,

both of us are big fans of the skipper of the Dodgers on a personal basis. Not to mention

his accomplishments as a manager. But this, this obsession, well, I mean, you know,

remember who you're talking with, Michael.

You're talking with the guy who proudly has many years ago coined the phrase creeping larusization of baseball, which has become a full gallop.
