And this month of October, which we all agree is the Nirvana for the all-around sports fan.

But no question.

We had a moment of greatness last night with the abrupt ending of a four-hour and 15-minute baseball game.

When Chris Taylor, who entered the game, gentlemen, eight for his, for 72, and then made an out, the end of the game as a defensive replacement, and he made an out.

And so he was eight for 73 at the moment that he entered into Dodger history with a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth as the Dodgers win the wildcard

game against the Cardinals to set up with all due respect to those Cardinals and Cardinal Nation

setting up the series that we want, which is the Giants and the Dodgers.

Bob, I didn't know Chris Taylor was going to hit a home run, but the Cardinals pitchers,

both of them, were in bad counts throughout that inning, okay? Three balls, three balls.

They got into two and one on, on, on Taylor. And Poolehole stung one, okay? And then Sousa stung one.

And then Bellinger, who can't hit right now gets a walk but i'm telling you

i know the game was long last night but it and i know there were no run score you know one one

we're going to the bottom of the ninth and all of that stuff but to me it was so it was such

compelling theater for the simple reason that the a team that won a hundred and six games we're

going to have a one one hundred and six game win team against a hundred and seven in the

upcoming series like nothing we've had from the Giants and the Dodgers okay all of that

...
