the podcast incarnation of the long-running Sunday morning TV show on ESPN that we now do twice a week,

gathering and talking about sports and, of course, talking about sports in the time of coronavirus,

and it's quite weird. President Trump gathered league commissioners together for a phone call

last week that was ostensibly going to be about job creation, but veered very quickly into

when can we get sports back open again.

And he had everybody from Major League, baseball, football, basketball, hockey, and other sports, not the collegiate ones.

And he basically said, soon, very soon, which is his favorite comment, and talked about having stadiums with people in them

as early as August. What do we make of that kind of optimism, guys? Mitch and Bob, you tell me,

even by, say, when they keep vowing, they're going to start this NFL season in September,

you tell me who you know,

okay, what friend of yours or relative or kid wants to be the first to raise a hand and go back

into a crowded arena or stadium absent a real treatment for this thing or a vaccine, which is not going to come along unless they defy

all the timing in the past for vaccines like this by September. To me, it is a preposterous notion
