And, you know, Bob, the more I moved through the world of journalism and even spring training,

running TV show and Mr. Album is traveling today so he is not with us. Bob, let's start.

You know, I joked to you one time that way back in the day they did this big thing on the sports

writers in GQ and they did a separate piece on me and I told the writer Alan

Richmond I said listen if I go to the derby I'm going to tell you about the horse that won the

freaking race and that's some heartwarming story about the jockey on the horse who finished six

okay the headliner in sports is still number 23 from the Los Angeles Lakers and Bob at the age of 35 after everything he's done

and as he tries to win an NBA title with his third different team which would elevate

him once more in the annals of basketball history it was wonderful to see him respond like a kid to the presence of Mr.

Zion Williamson in the gym the other night.

What a godsend for the Lakers to have something artificial crop up to further inspire him, right?

I mean, this is like DeiS. X. Mciasex Machina, it's unbelievable. I think here comes

this new, the new young whippersnapper, just what the old guy needed to say, wait a minute,

I ain't done yet. I am not abdicating. I am not Edward the sixth. I have no Wallace-Wirfield in my life right now, okay?
