Mike and Mitch and I have been doing this in one form or another for years, and we love doing

And gentlemen, yesterday afternoon in Los Angeles, early afternoon in Los Angeles, California,

we turned back the calendar to the 60s, the 70s, the 80s, and 90s.

And welcomed once again into the 21st century the most intriguing rivalry in all

of professional sports in the sense that it's bi-coastal and it really is legit most

other rivalries are somewhat more geographically oriented more for the most part I

know about the NFC East and they all hate each other but but this is a very

interesting rivalry it really does go back to and had its roots in the 1960s the first

time they met uh actually they met in nineteen fifty nine when the lakers were in los

minneapolis anyway gentlemen we had a game it was looking at much anticipated and uh we got a we

got an NBA game broke out did it not that would you say guys just today an old-fashioned

NBA game it was throwback Sunday it really was throwback Sunday and and Bob the

other thing that makes this rivalry in intriguing it is you know the Yankees have
