Explain how Virginia Tech is reestablished.

Well, first of all, my strength coach kind of came up with that in the weight room,

and we thought it made a ton of sense.

I think really what you're talking about is they played really good football here for a long

period of time.

And for the last, you know, 10, 12 years, whatever it's been, it hasn't been up to that standard.

And we want to get back to playing football around here the way it was with Coach Beamer and the way the fans and the alumni and the lettermen expected to be.

So we want to reestablish that legacy here.

Coach, I got to tell you, I was down there a lot because both my daughters went there and they both graduated.

But I can't tell.

I still have friends in the sports information office in the athletic department.

How excited they are for this.

I wanted to ask you, when was the last time before you got hired,

when was the last time you were in Blacksburg and saw the facilities?

I had not really seen the facilities at all.

As you know, how these coaching things go, you don't really necessarily get to come and check the place out.
